LX-360 Fibre Self-Levelling Compound - Deep Fill from 3-60mm
Dunlop LX-360 is a fibre self-levelling compound capable of deep fill applications up to 60mm on interior floors. This fibre-reinforced compound offers exceptional versatility for complex levelling projects, eliminating the need for multiple products or layered applications.
You can walk on it in just three hours, regardless of thickness, and tile after four hours, reducing project downtime and accelerating your workflow. Its polymer-modified, fibre-reinforced formulation provides superior strength and flexibility, minimising the risk of callbacks due to cracking or movement.
It is ideal for encapsulating electric underfloor heating cables and is compatible with commissioned underfloor heating systems. With a CT-C25-F7 classification and a 10-year guarantee, LX-360 offers the reliability and performance you need to complete projects on time and within budget.
APPLICATIONS
LX-360 Fibre Leveller is suitable for:
- Interior floor levelling in dry areas (3-60mm depth)
- Wet areas with occasional wetting (use with Dunlop Shower Waterproofing Kit)
- Underfloor heated screeds (after commissioning)
- Electric undertile heating (ideal for encapsulating cables)
- Preparing floors for ceramic tiles, natural stone, carpet, LVT and sheet vinyl
- Deep fill levelling projects requiring rapid turnaround
- Smoothing uneven timber and concrete substrates
Note: Not suitable for power showers, swimming pools or exterior applications.
SUITABLE SUBSTRATES
LX-360 can be applied to:
- Plywood overlaid timber floors and tile backer boards (securely fixed at 300mm centres)
- Cement:sand screeds, concrete and anhydrite/calcium sulphate screeds
- Cement:sand screeds with existing underfloor heating (after commissioning)
- Absorbent cement:sand screeds and concrete surfaces
- Uneven timber floors for soft floor finishes
- Existing unglazed ceramic tiles, quarry tiles, terrazzo and natural stone
- Existing vinyl tiles (not cushioned or compressive backings)
- Internal flooring grade asphalt (3-6mm maximum thickness)
- Old ceramic tile adhesive residues
- Floors requiring undertile heating cable encapsulation
Note: Priming requirements vary by substrate – refer to datasheet for specific priming instructions.
Coverage
A 20kg bag of LX-360 Fibre Leveller covers approximately 4m² at 3mm thickness. The coverage rate is approximately 1.7kg per mm/m². For example, a 20kg bag covers approximately 2m² at 6mm depth, or 1m² at 12mm depth. Coverage depends on substrate flatness and application depth.

FAQs.
1: What sets LX-360 apart from other floor levellers?
LX-360 is our premium fibre reinforced floor leveller designed for deep levelling from 3-60mm in a single application. The added fibres provide exceptional strength and flexibility, making it ideal for challenging substrates such as wooden floors, areas with significant movement or floors that require significant build-up. Unlike standard levellers, LX-360 can be used at greater depths without cracking, shrinking or requiring aggregates.
2: How does LX-360 compare to LX-40 and LX-200?
- LX-40: Standard leveller for basic applications (2-12mm)
- LX-200: Mid-range flexible option (0-20mm)
- LX-360: Premium fibre-reinforced deep fill option (3-60mm)
Key advantages of LX-360:
- Fibre reinforcement for superior strength and flexibility
- Deepest application range (up to 60mm in one pour)
- Best choice for problematic floors and areas subject to movement
- No aggregates needed even for deep applications
3: Can I use floor paint over LX-360 to finish the floor?
LX-360 is designed as an underlayment, before installing resilient floor finishes such as vinyl, linoleum, LVT etc. or tiles. If a resurfacing compound is needed, Dunlop LX-500E Exterior Leveller can receive suitable sealers, paints or coatings.
4: Can LX-360 be used on wooden floors?
Yes, LX-360 has been designed for use on wooden floors including plywood and tongue & groove floorboards. The fibre reinforcement provides the flexibility needed to accommodate the natural movement of timber while preventing cracking.
Preparation for wooden floors:
- Ensure boards are secure and free from excessive movement
- Prime with two coats of Dunlop SBR Universal Bonding Agent (diluted 1:2 with water)
- Apply the second coat at 90° to the first, allowing to dry between coats
- Apply LX-360 at a minimum 3mm thickness
This makes LX-360 the ideal choice for renovation projects in older properties with wooden subfloors.
5: How much LX-360 will I need for my project?
- One 20kg bag covers approximately 4m² at 3mm thickness
- Coverage formula: 1.7kg per mm per m²
- Example: For 10m² area at 10mm depth = 9 bags (1.7 × 10 × 10 ÷ 20 = 8.5 bags, rounded up)
- Can be applied up to 60mm without the need for aggregates
